Description
New and modernly equipped Vinyard castle`s granary for 4-6 people. We offer you the luxury of living and socializing in the embrace of nature and Dolenje hills. The granary is built with a lot of love, exclusively from wood. It offers a vacation for a maximum of 4 to 6 people and is fully equipped for stay and activities at or outside of it. It is heated with underfloor heating and air conditioning, and equipped with Wi-Fi signal, radio and television. In the surrounding area, there are many opportunities for cycling and hiking to the neighboring hill Debenec, which is a popular tourist spot for hikers and where the Plaz hut is open from Thursday to Sunday, where you can refresh yourself before the hike back. You can also just take a walk in the nearby forest and pick mushrooms.
At Vinyard castle`s granary children are very welcome. It is possible to rent an additional small baby cot. Part of the regular offer is an outdoor wooden swing for 2 to 3 people, which will be a delight for children as well as slightly older guests. Next to the granary, there is a large enough green area on which both children and adults can play badminton or kick a ball. All these sports equipment are also available to guests as part of the regular offer.
A good 3 kilometers away is the ZOO park Ranch Aladin, which is a paradise for children, as it is full of interesting and exotic animals and children’s playgrounds for children of all ages. You can go there on foot, which will take you about 1 hour, and by bike or car you will be there in no time.
The nearest shop in Mirna is 4 kilometers away. The granary is 7 km from Trebnje and 8 km from the highway.
For all art lovers we recommend a visit to the Gallery of naive artists in Trebnje, which is the central institution for naive art in Slovenia. It is the only gallery in Slovenia that collects, stores, researches and promotes the works of naive and self-made artists. In addition to the permanent exhibition, it also has temporary exhibitions and various events, such as the annual Camp of naive artists in the month of June. The gallery also regularly organizes classical music concerts by famous musicians and students of the School of Music Trebnje, which you can attend for free if you are interested in classical music.
If you are not interested in tours, events and sports activities, you have a few books, magazines and board games available in the granary to brighten up your day. Or you can simply indulge in the pleasures of peace, nature and an intimate experience of one of the most beautiful parts of Dolenjska, to which you will want to return again and again.
It is heated with underfloor heating and air conditioning and equipped with a Wi-Fi signal. Part of the additional offer is also a jacuzzi, which can be placed indoors and more intimately or outdoors at the guests' request. An outdoor fire pit for picnics and an outdoor shower are part of the regular offer. For all guests who have booked more than 2 nights, part of the regular offer is also a wine tasting in the nearby Castle Wine Cellar, which, like the entire plot, was once the property of the local Castle and its owners. It is also possible to buy bottled domestic wines, which you will enjoy during romantic sunsets, on the terrace of the Vinyard castle`s granary, with a view of the green nature and the beautiful surrounding vineyards. All guests receive a welcome bottle of homemade wine.
